Kira Banks

Barn Manager

Kira Leigh Regan-Banks, Barn Manager at Fixin’ Fences, combines her passion for psychology and equine care in her role. Kira, a graduate of Columbia University with a Bachelor’s in Psychology, is currently pursuing a Master’s in Experimental Psychology at Towson University.

Her equestrian journey began at a young age, leading her to adventurous roles such as wrangling at the Roosevelt Corral in Yellowstone National Park, where she gained experience with draft horses and team driving. After a stint patrolling with the NYC Parks Mounted Auxiliary Unit, Kira moved to Maryland, bringing her trusted wrangle pony, Tito, along for new adventures at Good Intentions Farm.

Together, Kira and Tito enjoy playing polocrosse and exploring the trails, contributing to the nurturing and healing environment that Fixin’ Fences provides to veterans.
